Capital Fencing Academy Important dates
and Holiday ClosureS (2024-25 Season)
Regular group classes and lessons begin Tuesday September 3, 2024 for the 2024-25 season. (Please remember to contact your coach about setting up your schedule for private lessons) Your membership(s) will renew automatically as they were in June. If you need to make any changes to your schedule, please email Info@Capfencing.com prior to September 1st .
During the 2024-2025 season, Capital will be closed during the following dates:
Thanksgiving Break - Thursday, November 28-Sunday December 1 (classes resume on Monday 12/2/24)
Winter Break 2024 - Tuesday December 24-Wednesday January 1
Capital’s Winter Camp - dates to be announced (no group classes during Winter Camp; for lessons, check with your coach)
President’s Day 2024 - Monday February 17, 2025
Easter Saturday - Saturday, April 19, 202
Memorial Day - Monday May 26, 2025
Summer Nationals (Milwaukee, WI) - June 28, 2025 to July 7, 2025
Capital’s Summer Sabre Camp 2025 – dates to be announced
Note that Friday June 27, 2025 will be the last day of regularly scheduled classes and lessons (see your coach to set up lessons for July and August).
Capital Fencing Academy closes when weather or other emergencies make it unsafe to keep the club open. Please stay in touch with the club when the weather has closed the government or if you have any questions about whether the club is open/closed.
This schedule is subject to change. Every effort will be made to send a notice out as soon as possible when we know of any changes.
