Who We Are

Capital Fencing Academy is one of the most successful fencing schools in the country. We train athletes to compete regionally, nationally, on the US international cadet and junior sabre squads, and US World Teams, and build Olympic fencing aspirations.

OUR GoalS

We are developing scholar-athletes motivated to excel both on the strip and in the classroom. We work to prepare our students to represent the United States internationally as well as gain admission to and fence for some of the nation’s most prestigious universities.

How We Do It

These goals are realized with unwavering, long-term dedication and sacrifice from both parent and fencer.  Achievement requires patient, attentive parents willing to make the commitment to their fencer's individual lessons, group classes and travel for competition.  It requires a determined, self-motivated and driven fencer willing to devote hours to training while balancing academic endeavors.  We craft a strategic training and development plan each year for each fencer so both parent and fencer knows what is required to keep pace with short-term annual targets and to reach long-term goals.
